Bill leaves two children living, Mark William Lawler (wife, Sally A. Lawler), and Kathleen Lawler Bodmer (husband, Brian E. Bodmer), with their sister, Kimberly Lawler Krain (husband, Howard L. Krain), predeceasing them in 2006. Bill has six cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Sally Lawler, Emily Lawler Dowzicky, Brendan Michael Krain, Alexandra Meghan Krain, Matilda Paige Bodmer and Donovan Jace Bodmer. Bill is also survived by his sister, Judith Lawler Caron (husband, Arthur Caron) and many adored nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Bill was active in the Easthampton Lions Club for many years, and as a veteran of the US Air National Guard, enjoyed spending time at the Westfield base over the last several years. Bill had a quick wit, and enjoyed water skiing, boating and vacationing with his family.
