Suzie Lucchesi died Thursday December 23, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Her birthday would have been December 26. Suzie battled against cancer and its aftereffects for nearly four years.
Suzie attended school in Easthampton, graduated from Cosmetology School and was the owner of the Suzie Scizzorhands Salon in Easthampton for many years. Recently, Suzie was employed by the Retail Dining Services of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She was a long-time bartender at the Pulaski Club and other establishments in Easthampton. She and her partner, Philip Mumblow, created and catered special events at the P-club and particularly enjoyed the events associated with the Kentucky Derby.
Suzie was a creative individual, having crafted many mementos for her family. Paintings, hooked rugs, needlework and sculptures will refresh our fond memories of Suzie for generations. Suzie enjoyed the hospitality business and its surroundings, an inherited trait from her parents Thomas and Dale (Perrea) Lucchesi, who were restaurateurs in Easthampton.
Suzie is survived by her partner Philip Mumblow, her children Angelina Tudryn of Springfield and Casey Mumblow of Easthampton and granddaughter Trinity Iannoli of Springfield. Her family also include David Lucchesi, sister-in-law Eva-Maye and family, of Easthampton and Thomas Lucchesi, Jr. and family of Florida
