Scott Dzialo Obituary

Scott Allan Dzialo, age 56, of Southampton and a long time resident of Easthampton,  died at Holyoke Medical Center on Thursday, November 11, 2021 after a sudden illness at his residence.

He was born in Northampton on June 26, 1965 and is the son of Donna Lee (King) Caddick and Charles Stanley Dzialo. Scott was educated in the Easthampton Public Schools and attended Easthampton High School and achieved his GED later. At the age of seventeen Scott joined the United States Army and became a member of the Special Forces Unit serving from July 1984 – May 1987. He enlisted in the Army National Guards and his unit was sent to aid in the clean up of Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005. Scott was a decorated veteran of the Afghanistan War serving his country honorably and proudly from September 2008 – January 2009. Unfortunately, Scott returned with many physical and emotional issues like so many military veterans have, after serving their country. Some are able to return to normal life and put their life back together, sadly others are not so fortunate. None of us can ever know what they witnessed or experienced.

Scott worked in the construction industry for many years. He loved and enjoyed motor cross, fishing and Nascar.

Scott is survived by his loving family, his Mother; Donna Lee (King) Caddick of Easthampton, Father; Charles Stanley Dzialo of Pinellas Park, Florida, Daughter; Lauren Lee Dzialo of Easthampton, Sister; Lisa Grabowski of Ludlow, two aunts, one uncle, four nieces, one nephew, and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, one aunt, one niece and one nephew.

Calling hours for Scott will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1-4pm at the Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 18 Adams Street in Easthampton, whom honorably and proudly has been entrusted with Scott's care and services. A Funeral Service with Military Honors for Scott will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at a future date to be announced.
