Peter John Morrissey

Peter John Morrissey, age 77, died on Tuesday,  December 6th, 2022 at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton after a brief illness. He was born in Northampton, MA on March 16th, 1945 and was the son of the late Esther (Gallivan) Morrissey and Raymond Morrissey. He was educated in Northampton schools and graduated from High School there as well. 

Peter was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and he was a Staff Sergeant, serving his Country Honorably in the United States Airforce. Peter was working at the Yankee Candle Company in Deerfield at the time of his death. He will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors on Monday,  December 19th at 10am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. He was a member of the Easthampton Dalton LaVallee American Legion Post #224.
