Affectionately known as Pammie to the family, she was the eldest child of Leonard Bernard and Lillian Drew Shields. The eldest sister to Linda Mae Craig (Lamar, Kendra and Naajeree) and Christopher Lindsey Chierchio.
Pammie attended Buffalo State Teachers College with a major in Mass Communication.
She used the gift of communication in all she did. She was knowing Humble, and Kind. She was a very spiritual woman and knew the Lord and shared her testimonies with loved ones.
A life of service provided a sense of pride for Pam. The joyful and devoted Mother to her only son, Marcel and as a Private Governess and teacher to children; teaching was her passion. Pammie later was the Chief of Staff at The Amherst Inn in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Pammie retired in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2020 where she enjoyed Art, Journaling, traveling to spend time with her Son and family in Atlanta and Detroit.
If you knew Pam, you know that she handled everything in life gracefully. With perseverance and knowing that God’s will be done, she shared her faith with all she knew.
She always spoke of how blessed she felt to know that God was with her every step of the way. Pammie was always proud to be Marcel’s mother, “I mean you know my son, he’s a wonderful young man”, she would beam with pride.
Pammie Westfield is survived by her loving, and Proud son Marcel Drew, Family (Drew, Shields, Craighead, Young and Neal) and her friends.
Final resting place Atlanta, GA.
