Maurice Williams transitioned on the morning of May 13, 2020 in his Easthampton, Massachusetts home. Preceded in death by father, Earl Williams, mother, Rosetta McElroy, and sister, Deborah Lewis. Maurice is survived by nieces Veronica and Naomi Lewis as well as grand nieces Yassera Lewis and Janelle Rose.

Maurice E. Williams, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, graduating from Warren Harding High School, then enlisted in the United States Naval Service. After honorable discharge, Maurice E. Williams worked decades for the October Company, Chemetal in Massachusetts until retirement.

Maurice E. Williams will be missed for his kindness, friendliness, laughter, and calm spirit. He loved his family and friends and will never be forgotten for being the gentle giant in the lives he touched. May he eternally be with his family on the other side as he voiced he wanted to be in the end.
