Joan Ann (Benjamin) Mason

Joan Ann Mason age 79 of Huntington, MA passed away January 5, 2022.  Joan was born on Oct 9th 1942 in New Bedford Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Ernest Benjamin and Rita Benjamin (Dupre).

Joan was an L.P.N who graduated from Westfield Sanatorium School of Nursing in 1962. Joan married her soulmate Robert Mason May of 1964.  She worked at the Holyoke Soldiers Home until the birth of their first child.

Joan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and had a love for animals.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband Robert Mason of Huntington, MA, daughter Barbara Taylor of Plainfield, MA, daughter Debra Servello and husband David of St. Augustine, FL, son Robert Mason Jr. of Huntington, MA, daughter Sharon Simon and husband Cody of Mason, TX.   She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Owen Taylor, James Servello, Robert Servello, Michael Servello, Jolie Simon and one on the way.  She is also survived by her beloved Scottie dogs Sabrina and Macgregor.
