Donald Digiammo, a proud veteran of the United States Army passed away peacefully at his home on June 27th, 2021.
He was the son of the late John (Jack) and Helen Digiammo of Easthampton, Massachuesttes, where he was raised. He was born August 27, 1949. Donald attended Sacred Heart school, followed by Smith Vocational school for Agriculture, and later graduated from STCC.
He served in the Vietnam war, from 1969-1972. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his valor and bravery in the line of duty. After returning home from the war, Donald worked at Digital for the next 22 years until his retirement.
Donald truly enjoyed going on excursions with his wife and family. He was happiest taking photos of the sunset, and traveling. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing and had a sharp mind especially in playing cards and managing his fantasy football teams.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Robin (Scagel) Digiammo, and his loving children, Jessica Digiammo of Southampton, Benjamin Digiammo and Colleen Bresnahan of Westfield. Also, his brother Richard Digiammo of Easthampton, and the joy of his life, his cherished grandson Koda Digiammo and his nephew, Stephen Digiammo of Northampton.
