Neil Walter Garvansites

Neil Walter Garvansites, age 62, died on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at his residence in the Dorchester section of Boston. He was born in Great Barrington, MA and was the son of the late Walter F. Garvansites Sr and Gloria J. (Best) Garvansites. He moved to Easthampton in his youth and was educated in the Easthampton Public Schools and graduated from Easthampton High School. He was a printer and worked for many years in the printing industry until his retirement to Dorchester. Neil was an avid card and billiard player and a huge fan of all Boston Sports Teams. He was always caring and had a big smile.

 He is survived by his two sisters; Kathleen M. Petersante of Westfield, Mary Yell of Easthampton,  a brother, Walter F. Garvansites Jr.(Genevieve) of Shreveport, Lousisana, his nieces; Tracy Marshuk (Michael) of Westfield, Sarah Yell of Goffstown, NH, three nephews; Michael F. Garvansites (Sara) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nicolas Yell of Brockton, Ryan Yell of Easthampton, his great niece; Penelope Marshuk and his great nephew; Michael F. Garvansites Jr. along with his close friend Charles Duncan and his family of East Longmeadow. Services for Neil will be private and at the convenience of his family will private burial at Saint Brigid's Cemetery in Easthampton.
