Krim Pin, age 79, of Belchertown, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday January 2, 2019 with her loving and devoted family by her bedside after a period of declining health. She was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on August 3, 1939 and she worked in farming in Cambodia before moving to the United States in 1983.
She was an avid gardener and loved cooking, trips to the casino's, loved watching television especially Thai Drama's, but most of all, she loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with her large family.
Krim is survived by one son; Vuthy Son and his wife Voeun Son, five daughters; Tha Son and her husband Va Leang, Mao Son and her husband Charles Wood, Yean Son and her husband Ra Tim, Sok Lim and her husband Juan Gomez, Sokhom Lim and her husband Henry Chhim, twenty seven grand-children and seven great grandchildren.
A Wake Services for Krim will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the International Community of Khmer Buddhist Monks Center, 144 Buffam Road, Pelham, MA from 9am – 3pm. On Monday January 7 from 9am – 12noon a Monks Prayer Service will be conducted, followed by a final blessing service before cremation at the Sprinfield Crematory at 1:30pm.
